118 Group Holdings plc, the Chelmsford based b2b services business with interests in Advertising, Directories, Media, Mobile, Publishing and Telecoms has appointed design agency, space and time design to handle the creation of the ‘tastycars’ and ‘tastymobiles’ businesses.
Speaking about the appointment, founder and CEO Daniel Corby said “We are delighted with the brand ideas that have been created by Space and Time and we have now appointed them to develop the brands ahead of the business launch. Tasty Mobiles will be the consumer facing brand of the mobile phone offshoot selling Nokia, Samsung and Sony product through the net and call centres of the parent company, 118 Group Holdings plc. Tastycars.com will be launching in q1 of 2007 and match buyers to sellers and provide real value to the consumer selling a second hand car”

118 Group Holdings plc opens a state of the art call centre in Chelmer Village on 16th October which will create a further 350 jobs for the town. These roles will be to manage the growth and launch of tasty mobiles and tasty cars and additional sales roles in internet directory, 118trades.
118 Group Holdings plc has also secured an additional 17,500 square feet of call centre space in Chelmsford which will be creating another 650 jobs for the business during 2007.
Space and Time design is a small design led agency based in Braintree, Essex.
118 Group Holdings plc main business is the operation of 118trades – the UK’s leading directory service of tradespeople and businesses with checkable references.
The group plans to float on AIM in 2007 / 2008 to raise finance in order to fund other suitable acquisitions for the group’s further expansion.
