Agency.com names David Eastman CEO and Dave Johnson President of North America

Agency.com (www.agency.com), the full service interactive agency, announced today that it has named David Eastman, Managing Director of Agency.com’s London office, as Chief Executive Officer. The company also announced that it has named Dave Johnson, Managing Partner of Agency.com’s Chicago office, as President of Agency.com North America. Co-founder Chan Suh will remain as Chairman.

[UKPRwire, Sat Mar 11 2006] As CEO, Eastman will be responsible for all aspects of worldwide operations for the company, with an immediate focus on European expansion. With Agency.com since 1998, Eastman has greatly impacted Agency.com’s success and growth throughout his tenure, most recently as Managing Director of the London office. Under his leadership, the London office has achieved considerable success working with clients including British Airways, Dulux and John Lewis and was recently recognized as the second most-awarded interactive agency in the U.K. by the Cyber Won Report (www.wonreport.com). Currently based in London, Eastman will relocate to Agency.com’s Madison Avenue headquarters in New York, once a London succession plan is in place. He will report to Jeremy Pagden, President and CEO of Tequila Worldwide, whose role encompasses oversight of marketing services businesses within TBWA Worldwide.

Dave Johnson, Managing Partner of Agency.com’s Chicago office, will assume the role of President of North America, and oversee the growth and staff of Agency.com’s North American region. Johnson joined Agency.com in 1998 when Digital Vision Communications, an interactive agency he founded in 1995, was acquired by Agency.com. During his tenure, Agency.com’s Chicago office has seen strong growth working with clients including HP, Grainger and ABN AMRO. Johnson will remain in Chicago and report directly to Eastman.
