Wyboston Lakes on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border is kicking off its calendar of charity events for the next decade by hosting one of its highly popular charity quiz nights on 30th January.
[UKPRwire, Mon Jan 11 2010] In its seventh year, the general knowledge charity quiz night will be hosted by Barry Stonham, operations director at Wyboston Lakes. The event is a great opportunity for locals to meet and enjoy Wyboston Lakes’ hospitality and start the New Year off with a bang! Everyone is welcome to participate and the organisers are open to suggestions for deserving local charities.
Barry Stonham said: “These evenings have been extremely well supported by Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire residents and Wyboston Lakes’ employees; together we have raised in excess of £15,000 to support local charities. The night will be filled with fun, food, prizes for the winning team and most importantly, raising lots of money for the nominated charity.”
Barry continues: “We are looking for a social project in the locality that needs support. We urge you to get in touch with us, tell us why you need the money and leave it to us to do all the hard work.”
The event will start at 7.00 pm, followed by a raffle. The entrance fee is £10 per person for groups of four to eight people and also includes supper.
