[UKPRwire, Fri Nov 02 2007] A leading Midlands-based design agency beat off competition from across the Country by giving judges ‘the creeps’ in an awards ceremony held in Manchester.
A web site created for Sutton Coldfield born film maker Mark Young by Fireloop Creative of Birmingham won the silver award in the ‘Best Website’ category of the Roses Design awards 2007. The agency beat off competition from Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds to win the award.
Dave Evans of Fireloop Creative, which is based in Birmingham’s Custard Factory said,
“We are delighted to have won this award. The design concept and the title of the site come from one of Marks’ first films. The web site is black and white, a little creepy and has the look of an old movie projector.
The film itself was featured earlier this year at the Chicago Underground Film Festival.
Once again, this award shows that the creative industries in Birmingham can take on the best in the Country.”
Fireloop Creative is an award winning multimedia design agency, formed in 2005 by Dave Evans of Stourbridge and Karen Webb from Coventry. For more details, go to www.fire-loop.co.uk or www.themoontheeye.co.uk.
