No Half Measures for the Marathon Screening!

Eye Candy Media's support to one of the most important sporting events in Scandinavia: Gotemborg's Half Marathon!

[UKPRwire, Wed Aug 08 2007] The 27th Göteborg Half Marathon has beaten the registration record with over 40,000 runners having registered!

The marathon has grown to be one of the greatest long distance races in the world.

The course started in one of the city's most beautiful parks, outside historic Slottsskogsvallen Athletic Arena, the site of many world records.

It circles the city, crossing over two bridges and giving an outstanding view of the surrounding area and the harbour, finishing back in the arena after passing through the city centre.

The purpose of the screens was to broadcast live the event and provide relevant information to the 200,000 enthusiastic spectators that were lined up in order to cheer the runners along.
