unit9.creative.production announces International Appointment and employs one of Japan's leading lights in Digital.
[UKPRwire, Wed Jan 18 2006] One of the creative luminaries of Japan’s digital scene has joined UK agency unit9.creative.production.
Takayoshi Kishimoto, formerly the Creative Director at TYO Interactive Design Inc. (TYO-ID) - a leading Tokyo-based international interactive agency - has joined London-based digital agency unit9.creative.production.
The move is part of a joint effort to expand creative forces and encourage greater collaboration between the two companies.
In Japan, Kishimoto has worked with high-profile clients including Nike, Sony, Casio, Toyota, Coca-Cola and Panasonic.
His online advertising campaign for the World Wildlife Foundation made TYO-ID the first Japanese design company to win a Gold Cyber Lion at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. More recently, his work has won a variety of international awards including Gold and Silver pencils at One Show and the Grand Prix at the Tokyo Interactive Ad Awards.
Kishimoto’s appointment as Creative Director is the culmination of an extended collaboration between unit9 and TYO-ID, who have worked together on many successful interactive campaigns for Nissan, Sony, Panasonic and numerous other clients.
Takayoshi Kishimoto said of the appointment,
