Free pressure washer offer back by popular demand at Tesco

[UKPRwire, Tue Jun 09 2009] As UK car sales continue to fall for the 13th consecutive month, Tesco has introduced an offer to help customers take better care of their existing vehicles. Tesco Home Insurance and Car Insurance are offering new customers a free Karcher pressure washer, worth £100, when they buy either insurance policy before 23 July 2009.

The offer has been brought back by popular demand and extended this year to include Tesco home as well as motor insurance. Tesco expects to give away up to 100,000 pressure washers, as car owners resist changing their car in the current economic climate.

Matthew Dransfield, Tesco Personal Finance says, “Last year, the Karcher pressure washer proved extremely popular with our customers. As UK car owners are evidently choosing to take care of their existing cars rather than upgrade to a newer model, we expect to see an even greater demand this year.”

The offer is open only to new customers who are Tesco Clubcard holders who receive a quote and buy Standard or Finest combined buildings and contents home insurance or Standard car insurance cover before 23rd July. (Offer excludes Value Car and Home Insurance policies). Customers will receive a letter entitling them to a Karcher Pressure Washer which they can redeem via Tesco Direct.
