Lower than expected operating costs from the seven washers and four dryers have helped to boost the new launderette’s operating profit in spite of high energy prices.
“We are a busy establishment which runs seven days a week with our opening hours from 8am until 8pm daily,” says 4C's Launderette Proprietor Patrick Sweaton. “We’ve found the Girbau washers and dryers to be highly energy efficient, so much so that our first quarter’s energy bill was substantially less than we had been expecting.”
The 4C's Launderette has six Girbau MS610 10kg capacity washers, one larger capacity MS613 (13kg capacity) washer, which is big enough to wash double duvets and four 13kg CG270 Pro Series II dryers. All Girbau coin-op 6 Series washers are designed to control energy consumption and the use of water, while being tough enough to withstand years of constant daily use. They feature four individually modifiable phase-to-phase programmes with up to 6 phases per programme and can be ordered with a choice of coin, token or card payment systems. The easy-to-use control panel guides users through programme choice to machine start.
