[UKPRwire, Wed Apr 25 2007] One of the finest centres of learning in the world, the London School of Economics, is hosting a gathering of alumni of Indian origin to celebrate their huge achievements and share in its unique vision. “The LSE gave us a springboard to do business flawlessly with UK, US, Hong Kong, Switzerland and even France,” explains Sunil Shah, Chief Executive of Coexis, a dynamic UK software company providing technology and applications for the Global Capital Markets. At the young age of 47, he has scaled the top of his profession. He is also very active in helping the charity Sense International by helping raise funds for it and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and planning a trek to Everest Base Camp in October 2007.

There are many such success stories. Financial Executive at Rabobank, London, Ritesh Shah also has a similar story. After leaving LSE, he has worked in USA, Holland, and France and speaks five languages. “My culture gave me a strong set of values and a very open-minded outlook which has enabled me to succeed and grow. Mombasa, Kenya seems a far cry from London and Philadelphia, but I made it and am proud of it.”

“The beauty of Indian culture is its ability to adapt and respect other points of view,” explains Dr. Atul Shah, Chief Executive of Diverse Ethics. “I did my Bachelors, Masters and PhD at the LSE and today am a very successful social entrepreneur. We are enterprising and flexible and have a high sense of integrity which is rare in modern society.”
