A modular course on neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), designed to help middle and senior managers improve the way they interact with others at work, will be delivered in London by Inspiring Potential, the coaching and leadership development specialist.

The course consists of five two-day modules which will run monthly, from September 2007 to January 2008. Called The NLP Certified Business Practitioner Course, it covers the key principles, concepts, skills and techniques of NLP and forms a comprehensive foundation in NLP practice. Participants will gain an NLP Practitioner Certificate accredited by the American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
“The modular format creates a complete and directly useful learning experience,” said Marielena Sabatier. “The course is very experiential and the participants will gain support from each other, and from the tutors, as they apply the skills and techniques in their organisations.”
Developed in the 1970s, NLP is a personal development approach which is widely used in business to improve inter-personal skills, relationships, sales and performance and in education to better understand learning styles and to develop a rapport with students. It empowers individuals to change their behaviour or limiting beliefs, improve their effectiveness and create a better quality of life.
