TFM Networks Reaches Finals of Prestigious Channel Network Awards
Advanced multi-application network deployment for YOTEL’s Gatwick Pod hotel impresses judges by combining cost-effectiveness with business functionality
[UKPRwire, Mon Sep 24 2007] TFM Networks has been selected as finalist for the prestigious UK Channel Network Awards (CNA) following the successful deployment of an advanced multi-application network for hotel chain YOTEL at its newly opened Gatwick Airport hotel - the first Japanese-style pod hotel in the UK.
The annual CNA awards recognise excellence and innovation in IT networks and the judges were impressed by the converged voice, video and data solution deployed by TFM Networks, which has provided a cost-effective means of running and prioritising all business operations.
The network solution handles all of YOTEL’s business requirements, from time-critical, secure operations such as credit card payments, real-time reservations and the handling of customer details, to running the hotel’s IP-based CCTV and the provision of high-speed wireless Internet access for business and leisure travellers staying at the hotel.
