TTH Laundry Services Bucks Recession and Invests to Tackle Growing Demand

Business is booming at TTH Laundry Services, the Wirral-based laundry company. In order to keep up with demand TTH has recently moved into new premises and taken delivery of a new high capacity 40kg washer extractor from Girbau UK.

[UKPRwire, Mon May 11 2009] Business is booming at TTH Laundry Services, the Wirral-based laundry company. It started in 1994 offering a domestic laundry and ironing service and today handles six-figure contracts for laundry, workwear rental and textile hire services to hotels, apartments, restaurants and other organisations across the North West of England. In order to keep up with demand TTH has recently moved into new premises and taken delivery of a high capacity 40kg washer extractor from Girbau UK, on the recommendation of Birmingham-based laundry equipment specialist Laundry Machine Limited.

“TTH were looking to invest in an advanced, high capacity high-speed washer that would be reliable, energy efficient and last for many years of continuous daily use,” says Ian Rollinson, Director of Laundry Machine Ltd. “After spending time going through their requirements, we had no hesitation in recommending a 40kg washer from Girbau UK. It’s much bigger than anything TTH have at present and perfect for the needs of this rapidly-expanding business.”

“We’re busier now than we were before the credit crunch,” says TTH proprietor Vicki Hughes. “So we needed new, bigger machinery to ensure we could maintain the fast turnaround and quality finish that our customers know they can rely on. Laundry Machine and Girbau UK were both really helpful when it came to choosing the right machine and then installing it in our new laundry.”

Commenting on the choice of Girbau Vicki adds, “This is a big investment for us, so it had to be the right machine for our needs. Reliability was paramount. I wanted a washer that would not let us down and that I could trust would last us faithfully for years, but we needed more than that too. To help keep our costs under control we wanted a highly energy efficient machine. We were also attracted to the advanced programmability of the Girbau washer. It came with 20 standard programmes and the ability to add a further 59 if we need them. It needs less human intervention than our other machines and will help us to ramp up the productivity and quality of our whole operation.”

As a family-run business TTH Laundry Services prides itself of the highest levels of customer service and laundry quality. As a result, it has grown fast in recent times and it now has ambitious plans for further growth this year and beyond.
