Visitors were able to experience the delightful setting as well as meeting more than 40 exhibitors who were showcasing everything the bride and groom will need on their special day. Paul Middleton from Biggleswade was the winner of the prize draw and received a voucher for a complimentary meal for two, together with a bottle of champagne.

Visitors were able to experience the delightful setting as well as meeting more than 40 exhibitors who were showcasing everything the bride and groom will need on their special day. Paul Middleton from Biggleswade was the winner of the prize draw and received a voucher for a complimentary meal for two, together with a bottle of champagne.
In addition to florists, limousine hirers and cake makers, entertainers and toastmasters were also on hand to give help and advice to would-be brides. One of the highlights of the event was the ever popular fashion show during which Olivia Grace Bridal previewed their very latest autumn collection of bridal gowns.
“The rural and tranquil location at Wyboston Lakes has proved to be a great success. Our research has shown that today’s bride and groom want somewhere that has competitively priced accommodation, but most importantly is willing to be flexible in their approach,” said Olivier Six, operations director at Wyboston Lakes. “We listen to our customers and work closely with them so they get exactly what they want on their day”
Added Six, “One of the visitors to the exhibition wanted Caribbean food and was unable to find a venue which would cater for her needs. She met Fergus Martin, our
award-winning head chef, who took up the challenge and he is very happy to provide an authentic Caribbean feast. Like all our brides, she can come along to a menu tasting and sample the menu Fergus will prepare, so we now have another happy customer who has booked her wedding here next year.”
With over 400 bedrooms, a 250 seat restaurant, private lounge and dance floor and ample free parking on site, Wyboston Lakes is the only venue in the area able to cater for large wedding parties with more than 200 residential guests. The golf course and leisure facilities on site are an added bonus and means guests can take advantage of the special ‘Wedding Weekend’ packages Wyboston Lakes offer.
