[UKPRwire, Wed Nov 07 2007] Cambridge-based The Assessment Network, The Investors In People (IiP) Centre for the East of England, has developed an innovative marketing tool. The product was launched on 6th November at EEDA’s ‘Destination Growth 07’ at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, in Cambridgeshire.
The tool was issued free of charge to delegates at the conference and Elaine Johnson, managing director of The Assessment Network explained how the new product can help businesses. “Through a series of customer ‘video’ stories, our marketing tool shows examples of how IiP helps organisations improve their business performance and profitability through strategic planning, developing their people and effective management. It also links to ‘Investors in People Interactive’ the new online tool from IiP UK, which gives employers a bespoke ‘roadmap’ for business improvement. For the first time organisations can work interactively online with the business improvement methods that are central to the Investors in People Standard.”
‘Investors in People Interactive’ provides a way for companies of all sizes to plan their people needs in context with their business goals. By moving through a simple set of questions and scenarios, employers can build an in-depth picture of how their organisation compares to good practice. They also get a summary report, which pinpoints areas for improvement and helps the organisation deliver on their business goals.
Destination Growth 07 has become the East of England’s flagship business event and is set to attract up to 500 leaders from the region’s fastest growing small to medium sized enterprises. Speakers include Jerry Greenfield, Founder of ‘Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream’, Jacqueline Gold, chief executive of ‘Ann Summer’ and Dr Edward De Bono, widely regarded as the world’s leading authority on creative thinking.
