Blueberry Earns Certified Partner Status In Microsoft Partner Program

Blueberry Consultants has earned Certified Partner status in Microsoft Corporation’s Partner Program, recognising Blueberry’s expertise as a software solutions provider in the technology marketplace.

[UKPRwire, Mon Jan 15 2007] As a Certified Partner, Blueberry has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customer needs.

Microsoft Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support that give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Blueberry Consultants, an award-winning custom software developer with 10 years experience in solving challenging technical problems, understands the needs of commercial business and how technology can be a tool to improve performance and profitability. The company has an extremely deep knowledge of all aspects of PC-based software development – from specification through to design, implementation and testing.

Projects completed by Blueberry include software systems for Microsoft, IBM, Chubb, Barclays Bank, Toshiba, Carillion, Lafarge, AC Nielsen, Symonds Group, Rubric, Forex, SoftFacts, and HML.

Managing Director of Blueberry Consultants, Martin Green, said: "Achieving the Microsoft affiliation is a milestone for Blueberry and provides us with valuable recognition for our work as a software developer.

“Our Certified status also allows us to clearly promote our expertise and relationship with Microsoft to our clients, as well as to enhance the level of support we can offer.”

Commenting on the importance of becoming a Microsoft Partner, Martin Green said: “Clients are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. Because of our deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, we are in a position to provide a high level of expertise on problems requiring a technology-led solution.”

To achieve Certified Microsoft Partner status, Blueberry Consultants declared a Microsoft ISV/Software Solutions Competency, based on the company’s successful record of developing and marketing software. The attainment of this competency recognises the skill and focus of Blueberry in delivering solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft, said: “Only companies that have demonstrated high levels of customer service, proved their experience and attained advanced certification receive the designation of Microsoft Certified Partner.

"Microsoft recognises Blueberry for its skills and expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology.”

Blueberry Business Development Manager, Robert Smith, said: “Becoming a Certified Microsoft Partner is a major step for us, which will enhance the profile of Blueberry Consultants to our customers and in the technology marketplace. The company is currently undergoing a period of controlled expansion and this certification will help us maintain our focus on continuing to deliver high quality software solutions to businesses.”

The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in December 2003 and represents Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes partner expertise, rewards the total impact that partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners’ businesses be successful.
