Launched: Seedcamp finalist’s unique search technology now powering job searches in Harrogate

Finalists in the 2009 Seedcamp European Internet start up competition, Advertag have launched a website for Harrogate Jobs (http://harrogate.advertag.com) powered by their semantic, self-organising search system.

[UKPRwire, Tue Dec 01 2009] Advertag will be expanding into the rest of the United Kingdom in the coming months as well as covering classified ads as a whole such as items for sale, cars, events and local advertising.

The intelligent, learning system uses “tagging” – the notion of describing an object both in part and as a whole, however Advertag uses its advanced algorithm to extract this data automatically to create a search system that is both highly accurate and unique.

In development for almost a year, a team of three, including co-founder Jonathan Shrago, founded Advertag with their extensive Internet start up and academic experience.
