New Testament and New Technology combine to bring word of God to anywhere!

It sounds impossible but now the entire New Testament is available free to read on your mobile phone.

[UKPRwire, Tue Sep 19 2006] Christian developers have created a New Testament that can be read on mobile phones. ‘This is a major change in the way that people can access the word of God’, said lead developer Jonathan Powell. ‘There is no need to carry a bulky book with you anymore, the gospels are there on your phone. People can now read the New Testament whilst commuting, on the bus, or wherever they are.’

The four gospels are available on their own and a larger entire new Testament is also available. They are available free of charge to encourage people to experiment and change the way they interact with the bible.

‘We think this is a huge development in biblical access and hope that it will be used as a tool by many people.’ The version of the bible is an update of the 1901 ASV and is in modern day English. The bible is added to a modern java enabled mobile phone in the same way as any other application.
