Introduction by Chairman Dr Brian Blunden OBE, Pay-Store Chairman

Brian was educated at City University (London) and trained with the Queen’s Printers & Publishers. He was a Director & MD of Pira International for 26 years, prior to retiring in 1998 and was appointed OBE for services to industry. Brian is currently the Chairman of Ventures Advisory Board of Surrey University and also Chairs E-Synergy/SBS Advisory Panel.

Starnes, President, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)spoke on the evidence & cost of poor security.

Richard is an internationally recognised expert in information security, incident response, computer crime investigation and cyber terrorism.
He has extensive experience in designing and implementing information technology security systems, crisis management, policy and procedure development, physical security implementation, audit and review of information security programs.
Richard has seventeen years experience in planning and implementing information technology systems and security solutions and is also an expert in identifying, documenting and reviewing current - and developing - best practice, standards, policies and procedures.

Tricia is Chairman of The Internet Society’s UK Chapter, a trustee of YouthNet UK (which includes the TheSite – targeting 15-25 year olds and “Do-it” – the National Volunteering Database), and a member of the University of Surrey’s Ventures Advisory Board. Tricia is also Chair of the Lord Mayor’s Technology Advisory Group.
