devolo Signs up Northamber to Distribute HomePlug Products
Leading IT distributor signed up to resell devolo’s market-leading HomePlug product range
[UKPRwire, Tue May 22 2007] Home networking specialist devolo has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with leading IT equipment VAR Northamber to resell its full range of market-leading HomePlug products.
Northamber will resell the full range of devolo’s HomePlug home networking products, including devolo’s duo, high-speed and dLAN 200 products. Partnering with devolo will further strengthen Northamber’s IT equipment portfolio.
The HomePlug range gives users a high-speed broadband network connection at every power point in the house, enabling PC’s, broadband modems and routers, games consoles and set-top boxes to be quickly connected to the network.
With data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps, the devolo products support full multimedia home and business networking, internet telephony and triple play services such as HDTV and video streaming.
Peter Huddleston, UK country manager at devolo said: “This is a key strategic alliance for us. Northamber are one of the UK’s longest established resellers with a strong presence in the industry. Partnering with them will help us achieve greater market penetration and fully develop our product range.”
