To pave the way for the Christmas season and warming up the arrival of cold winter days, the Waterfront Restaurant at Wyboston Lakes is hosting a celebratory Christmas brunch on Sunday 13th December. The event will bring together all the ingredients that make Christmas special, family reunion, indulgent food, festive carols and a visit from Father Christmas with a sack full of presents.

[UKPRwire, Thu Nov 19 2009] Set in 350 acres of picturesque countryside, nestling on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border, the Waterfront Restaurant, with its scenic views over the south lake, has a reputation for excellent food together with impeccable levels of service.

Executive chef Fergus Martin and his award-winning brigade have designed a seasonal feast that combines traditional Christmas recipes with sophisticated dishes using only the best and freshest produce. Guests can start the day with a continental or full English breakfast together with smoothies, Belgian waffles with syrup and homemade pastries.

The hot buffet station consists of a variety of festive dishes such as roast Norfolk turkey with all the trimmings, sirloin of Scottish beef with Yorkshire pudding and rich jus, plus an alluring selection of deli foods and salads.

For the sweet-toothed, the dessert station offers mince pies, Christmas cake and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and cut seasonal fruit.

To keep in the festive spirit and the cheer of the day high, guests will enjoy carol singers whilst Father Christmas greets and delivers presents to the children.

The ‘eat-as-much-as-you-like’ Christmas brunch takes place from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm and is priced at £32.95 for adults; £18.95 for under 12’s and is free for the under 5’s.
