25 February sees the opening of MUCH – a new play by Hannah Patterson, directed by Fringe First winner Hannah Eidinow. Set against a London backdrop, MUCH tells the tale of a young, ambitious woman pushing the boundaries of privacy with her art, and explores the loss of innocence in a ruthless world. The cast for this stylish look into these four lives is Caroline Corrie, Roger Ringrose, Will Irvine and Leonie Hill.
[UKPRwire, Fri Feb 05 2010] Helen is about to marry Roy when Tom, his son, arrives, stirring up memories of the past. With him is Sylvie, a budding artist, whose presence exposes the dysfunctional ties that bind a domineering tycoon, his forsaken son and the central object of their affection. A poignant play about a broken couple and the road that must eventually lead a son out of his father’s shadow.
Hannah Patterson has written several short plays and has a short film currently in production. MUCH is her first full-length play.
