Parripak, one of the UK’s leading fresh vegetable producers, has revamped its brand identity, to better reflect its key brand values of product innovation, expertise and customer care.


[UKPRwire, Mon Jun 08 2009] Parripak, one of the UK’s leading fresh vegetable producers, has revamped its brand identity, to better reflect its key brand values of product innovation, expertise and customer care.

The new brand identity has been integrated into all areas of the business and will be rolled out company-wide from this month across marketing materials, the new website and vehicle livery.

Gavin McNally, managing director of Parripak commented: “We have positioned ourselves with a more modern approach for continued growth. To ensure that our brand values are right for today’s market, we have gone back to the foundations of our business and undertaken an in-depth analysis of our core values.”

Parripak is strategically placed to cover the UK across two sites in Bedfordshire and the Scottish Borders (Gretna) providing a wide range of freshly prepared vegetables in a variety of cuts. Products are split into four main groups, root crops, garlic and ginger, exotic and bespoke. One of the company’s key strengths is its ability to provide the complete range of vegetables from Aubergines to Zucchini, offering flexibility and agility to meet individual customer needs.

In 2008 Parripak acquired Solway Veg in Gretna, which has put the company into a strong market position where they have gained a reputation as ‘the ‘first choice’ and the ‘one stop shop for greener vegetables.’ This acquisition means that Parripak can now supply the whole of the UK from the two sites with a range of freshly prepared vegetables.

McNally added: “Our shared brand proposition of ‘harvesting the best’, is the ethic across our business, and will be promoted across all of our communications. I believe that this is the perfect time to re-affirm our ongoing commitment to work together with our growers to grow, source and process only the very best products for our customers”.

Parripak are part of the William Jackson Food Group and have signed a commitment to achieve the fivefold environmental ambition set by the food and Drink Federation (FDF) which includes Environmental Performance Benchmark, Transport, Water use, Energy and Solid Waste.

Parripak are also members of the Green Business Network, which supports the process of implementing an Environmental Mangement System in accordance with ISO 14001.
