Wyboston Lakes on the borders of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire is setting the pace for starry-eyed lovers this St Valentine’s Day.
[UKPRwire, Sun Feb 10 2008] Discreetly nestled amongst Wyboston Lakes 350 acres of countryside, The Waterfront Brasserie will be embracing the spirit of romance with a menu specially designed for the most amorous of days.
Especially for the occasion, the romance of the starlit lakeside vista overlooking the lakes of the River Great Ouse will be enhanced by the soft serenades of an aptly chosen George Benson tribute act. Add attentive yet unobtrusive service and The Waterfront Brasserie becomes the ideal destination for a cosy dinner-à-deux.
Overseen by Executive Chef Fergus Martin, the 4-course menu includes locally sourced fresh goats cheese and tomato salad with balsamic salsa or a king prawn and smoked salmon tian. Main courses feature pan fried seabass fillet with crushed potatoes dressed with herb butter or Scottish fillet of beef with homemade red onion marmalade and Madeira jus. A selection of favourite palate pleasers rounds off the menu; homemade milk chocolate and Amaretto torte or a blackberry delice with mulled berries – enough to seduce the hardest of hearts.
With the scene firmly set for romance, guests may also wish to take advantage of the newly refurbished bedrooms in the adjacent Waterfront Centre. Achingly stylish, the rooms are ideal for today’s design-conscious couples – a fabulous backdrop for guests to pursue their own conclusion for the evening!
