The Living Room Edinburgh Launch Cocktail Masterclasses just for Men
The Living Room Edinburgh have recently launched their brand new cocktail masterclasses just for men - giving them the confidence to order something a bit different at the bar and become a true 'Master Shaker'.
[UKPRwire, Mon Mar 03 2008] The Living Room in Edinburgh have recently launched their brand new Cocktail Masterclasses for Men – designed to give them the skills to impress their companion next time it’s their turn to order in a bar or make a splash entertaining at home. The classes will be led by The Living Room’s bar manager and participants will learn everything they need to know to make perfect cocktails and become a true ‘Master Shaker’.
Each masterclass will include a demonstration of how to make three classic cocktails – The Living Room’s own Basil Grande, Mojito, and a favourite with the ladies, the Cosmopolitan – with attendees given a chance to get behind the bar and shake it up themselves. The classes will last approximately two hours. At the end of the session, participants will receive a ‘Master Shaker’ certificate, recipe cards and a surprise cocktail accessory to take away.
The Living Room predicts that by the end of each session, not only will blokes be able to make the perfect cocktail, but even the most macho of men will have the confidence to order up (in public!) pink frothy numbers while keeping their steely reputation in tact.
The Living Room’s Cocktail Masterclasses for Men are available every second Tuesday of the month at 18.30 for only £25 per person. One for the ladies… The Cosmopolitan was made famous by Dale Degroff at the Rainbow Bar in Los Angeles. It was then later made even more famous by Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie, in Sex in the City. You will definitely have a giggle or two while watching your friends attempt to flame the orange zest!
