London to Paris Cycle Challenge 2009 - a successful debut

A group of 15 generous Diabetes UK supporters cycled over three days from England’s buzzing capital to the heart of Paris and helped raise an impressive £20,000 to help people with diabetes.

[UKPRwire, Thu Oct 08 2009] This exciting 195-mile challenge took place between 11 and 14 September. The fundraisers set off at Hampton Court, cycling through the beautiful English countryside before ending at Newhaven Harbour.
They then continued their journey again in Dieppe, cycling 75 miles to Rouen and through the Seine Valley. On the final day they returned through the Seine Valley and cycled in the stunning French countryside before ending in Paris, where a celebratory glass of champagne awaited them.
