With a Method Putkisto break – The Body Lean and Lifted, bookable through Exclusive Escapes, it is possible. Method Putkisto focuses on highlighting the effects of tightness and shortness in the muscles, and how elongating these muscles through deep stretching can improve physique and posture. It was developed by Finnish born dance and movement expert Marja Putkisto. Marja is also a founder member of the Pilates and Method Putkisto Training Programme in her native Finland and has released several books and DVDs about both topics.

Method Putkisto is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness, and was described by Harpers and Queen Magazine as ‘One of the most sensible, effective and body changing (if not potentially life and health changing) methods of exercise I have tried’.
