Fido Media appoints Paul Knott as Managing Director ahead of planned growth for the business
[UKPRwire, Mon Apr 02 2007] IMT Group plc, which last week launched the iFinda brands across the UK, including the launch of iFindabusiness, iFindawedding and iFindamobile has appointed Paul Knott as Managing Director of Fido Media, the publishing business of IMT Group.
Paul Knott has worked with Fido Media for around 6 months and has been promoted with effect from 10th April 2007. Paul will be based at Fido Media in Chelmsford.

The IMT Group was founded in 2005 by Daniel Corby. Uniquely it produces regional printed and web based directories of businesses which have been independently verified by customers. It also publishes free-to-pick-up magazines under the FIDO brand which currently serve major conurbations in Essex and which will be progressively rolled out to other areas. The group continues to grow rapidly.
In November 2006 a 300 seat telesales centre was opened in Chelmsford Essex. Additional centres are already at an advanced stage of planning.

The board became strengthened significantly during 2006, with the appointment of business veteran, Richard Allan as Chairman, Hugh Craen, the founder of Potential Finance Group plc as Director, Peter Hill as Group Finance Director, Jaynie Vincent as Group HR Director, Scott Barker as Director of Risk Operations. The business is based in Essex, with operations in Chelmsford, Harlow and the Asia Pacific regions.
Other iFinda brands to launch will include iFindaflight.com, iFindaholiday.com, iFindacar.com, iFindahouse.com, iFindaphone.com, iFindagift.com and iFindamate.com
The business has recently recruited a retired Head of Trading Standards to the business as Head of Ethics. The committee will meet once a month and will oversee the way the group deals with its customers, staff and shareholders.
