Lancashire Evening Post Website Voted Best in North West of UK


The Lancashire Evening Post's website has been voted the best in the North West.


[UKPRwire, Fri Jun 26 2009] lep.co.uk won the Best Website title at the North West Newspaper Awards 2009, beating competition from the Blackpool Gazette and Lancashire Telegraph.

A panel of three judges said: "The Lancashire website of Johnston Press presses the buttons on what makes a good website."

The awards, sponsored by Sellafield Ltd in association with the North West region of the Society of Editors, are given in recognition of the best journalists and newspapers throughout Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cumbria and Leek.
