‘Lady’, an exclusive track by Street Politiks that features soul artist, Sam Roman is out now on the compilation CD ‘R’n’B Sessions 3’.
[UKPRwire, Mon Feb 06 2006] MOBO and UK Hip Hop award winners, Street Politiks have had their song, ‘Lady’ included on the successful ‘R’n’B Sessions’ compilation series.
The track, which has been crafted by the London based production outfit ‘Konkrete Productions’ also features the sublime vocal talents of rising soul star, Sam Roman.
At first glance this seems an unlikely collaboration, but once you’ve heard the track it becomes apparent that the combination of raw, street styled Hip Hop really can marry with the sweet sound of ‘Nu Soul’.
Add a pounding beat with a sub-low bassline and you’re left with a potential club classic that will get many a raver on to any dancefloor!
Other artists featured on the compilation include, Blackstreet, Marvin Gaye, Aaliyah, Will I Am and John Legend to name but a few.
With Street Politiks’ debut long player due out any time soon and Sam Roman’s album due for release in the summer, 2006 is sure to be a year to remember for both of these class acts.
