The business was previously handled in-house by Telkomsel’s marketing and procurement departments and this is the first time that they have appointed an external partner. The appointment is effective immediately.
MEC Indonesia won the mainline media planning and buying from Initiative for Telkmosel – the country’s largest mobile telecommunications operator – in May 2009 after a competitive pitch process conducted by R3
