[UKPRwire, Tue Nov 17 2009] New Ethical Online Estate Agency Enters the Lake District Property Market.
The South Lakes this week sees the launch of online estate agency Purely Property. The brainchild of local entrepreneur Mark Denwood, whose mission is to “bring integrity, transparency and exceptional customer service to the property transaction process”. Based online and working from a small home office Mark claims “the need for town centre premises is coming to an end”, a sentiment echoed by *Philip Pullman of the NAEA recently, in an interview with Sky News Online.
Mark says the idea was born after returning to University as a mature student to study business, using his newly acquired skills he decided he wanted to build an enterprise based on good ethical business practices, with a strong sense of environmental and social responsibility. “I wanted to enter a marketplace where I could have a positive impact, developing an estate agency build on ethical and transparent working practices seemed like the perfect choice.
Mark has lived in the South Lakes for almost 20 years, working as a manager in the hospitality industry. When asked how this experience would relate to estate agency work Mark replied “To be a good estate agent you need to be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and these are transferable skills I have already developed from previous roles, it’s simply a case of deploying them in a new sector”.
To coincide with the launch Mark is offering his first 10 clients a substantial 25% discount across all the sales packages on offer, to discover more visit www.purelyproperty.co.uk.
