70% energy savings in control panel illuminations LEDs outlive most control panels
Marl has extended its impressive range of filament bulb replacement LEDs, adding both lower and higher voltages to its standard catalogue
[UKPRwire, Fri Sep 21 2007] Marl has extended its impressive range of filament bulb replacement LEDs, adding both lower and higher voltages to its standard catalogue. LEDs use around 70% less energy than filament bulbs, and are maintenance free since their service life is normally greater than the life of the system into which they are fitted.
The Marl website offers standard bulb replacement LED lamps in12V and 24V, as well as 5V, 6V, 48V and 60V versions. Marl also offers any other voltage within this range to order. The range includes solutions that are a direct fit into T.6.8/ T5.5 slide bases, T3¼ bayonet cap, BA15d and other industry standard lamp fittings. Mean time between failures (MTBF) on all of these lamps is 100,000 hours of illumination – significantly greater than the operating life of most electronic and electrical systems. Marl LEDs are therefore not only energy efficient but also maintenance free.
Marl bulb replacement LEDs offer a trouble-free, fit and forget replacement for incandescent lamp bulbs, closely matching their optical and electrical characteristics. For an exact colour match, Marl offers warm white LEDs that can be fitted behind a coloured lens as a true replacement for a filament lamp. To reduce the risk of damage through incorrect connection, the BA15d compatible 225 series is bi-polar, and the 215 Series T3¼ replacement is offered in optional reverse polarity form. All Marl bulb replacement LEDs are resistant to shock and vibration and the 225 series features internal potting for further increased protection.
The most popular Marl ranges of bulb replacement LEDs are:
Marl Series Fitting
208 T6.8 slide base
209 T5.5 slide base
215 T3¼ bayonet cap
225 BA15d
