Centaur Services Automates Invoice Processing To Boost Productivity
Centaur Services deploys ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices to automate invoice processing in to SAP®

Founded in 1964, Centaur Services provide customers with an efficient distribution system enabling the supply of veterinary medicines and other ancillary products. With over 9,000 products stocked and access to over 16,000 products in total, Centaur Services aim to provide customers with everything required to run a veterinary practice on a daily basis. Over 25% of the products used by all veterinary practices in the UK are delivered by Centaur Services.
Previously invoices were manually entered and matched against purchase orders and goods received notes. Processing was slow, costly, labour intensive and prone to error. The accounts payable process will now be fully automated. Centaur will use ITESOFT.FreeMind for invoices to capture and electronically process in the region of 100,000 invoices per annum. The solution will be seamlessly integrated into their SAP® accounting system.
ITESOFT.FreeMind for Invoices will reduce the need for manual intervention by transforming paper invoices into digital images, automatically extracting and validating invoice data, and matching against the PO, before posting into SAP®.
The invoice is posted into SAP® via the ITESOFT.Balance integration module which ensures that any query invoices are automatically sent to the business for resolution prior to releasing for payment. The time taken to process invoices will be greatly reduced and will require minimal human intervention. Invoices are stored as electronic images and can be easily retrieved, assisting query resolution.
