LONG RANGE SYSTEMS - PUSH FOR SERVICE RETAIL HELP POINT
Great new retail help point paging solution from LRS with the highest ROI in the industry. Superb features unique in the industry and tried and tested throughout the DIY indstry worldwide.
[UKPRwire, Thu Apr 01 2010] A new product originally developed by Long Range Systems in Dallas USA for use on the beach is now being used substantially within the UK DIY retail industry.
The Butler XP system is basically a 'push for service' help point for retail businesses to help them to give shoppers a massive improvement where assistance is required - and that's where sales are made or lost in the retail business.
Bearing in mind the overheads involved with staffing large retail outlets, it makes sense to use technology in a way that can easily increase those sales closures through great customer service.
The Butler XP is a simple device which can page a member of staff, a group of staff or all staff when a help point button is pressed so that staff can quickly and efficiently help customers. But there is much more to this simple device than meets the eye - the Butler II can repeatedly repage staff until the customer has been handled. Once the customer presses the help point button then a member of staff MUST go to the help point to cancel the page to staff.
But, like most LRS products there is even more to this story. When a staff member arrives at the help point and cancels the staff call, the Butler XP sends out a message to all relevent staff to confirm that the help request has been handled (if enabled), thus ensuring that EVERY customer gets timely service and all staff are fully aware that the help request was handled.
One last feature - which is where the 'beach design' comes in to it's own is that for the first time in the history of DIY stores they can have help points outside because the Butler XP is completely waterproof.
"There are of course other systems out there for retail DIY companies and indeed other retail styles of business" Managing Director Anthony Mckenzie of Long Range Systems UK offices says, "But often they are very complex, they use combinations of cabling and wireless to communicate and their ROI is extremely poor because of the often extortionate cost of the equipment, the support and all the non warranty repairs those type of systems suffer from".
Mckenzie continued "Withe the LRS Butler II you get a simple effective product with a new for old warranty - we even offer free trials to all customers, something which no other company in the UK offers".
"With ROI often being in a matter of weeks instead of years it's a great system that almost anyone can afford. For that matter it's a great system they cannot afford to be without" commented Mckenzie further.
LRS does in fact sell other products and systems if the business needs more complex solutions, but often LRS customers don't really need a complex and difficult to use system.
The system is sold literally worldwide by Long Range Systems which is a world wide manufacturer of equipment of this type and is used in retail outlets everywhere.
Here in the UK Long Range Systems operates an office where you can buy DIRECT from the manufacturer and should you ever need service your query is handled by LRS themselves which typically from manufacturers is the best service available anywhere. With that new for old warranty it looks like retail and DIY are going to be benefitting from these products for some time to come.
LRS UK offices are growing at around 30% every year from sales of such simple, innovative products such as these and were the UK Business of the Year runner up for 2009.
