NEW BLUETOOTH STEREO HEADSET STRIKING A CHORD WITH SPORTS FANS

Bluetooth manufacturer Avantronics has launched the latest model in Bluetooth stereo headsets, the “Avantalk Jogger” in the UK and US. The model, considerably smaller than any other currently available, is being targeted at active or sporting individuals, being ideal for walking, hiking or even when working out in the gym.

The model, considerably smaller than any other currently available, is being targeted at active or sporting individuals, being ideal for walking, hiking or even when working out in the gym.

Since software targeting both 3g and 3gs was updated earlier this year, we have seen several such headsets launched to market from key industry players, including Nokia and Sony Ericsson. However, consumer feedback has not been entirely favourable, with indications that these models are too large and unattractive, have too short a play time and in some cases, have cumbersome wires which interfere with the user’s comfort.

Offering superb stereo quality, the Jogger weighs only 23g so is barely noticeable to the wearer. It has a specific ergonomic design which allows it to mould itself to the individual user’s face and ear, even during strenuous activity – particularly useful when working out in the gym.
