[UKPRwire, Fri Jun 15 2007] Security and associated technology solutions expert, Reflex, has been awarded a contract to supply fully mobile military specification sound systems for MoD overseas field hospital applications.
This is the latest of a number of similar orders received by Reflex from the MoD in the last few years.
The systems are used in military applications in locations throughout the world, and are designed to operate in extreme climate conditions - from sub-zero arctic climates, right through to arid desert temperatures of 50 degrees celcius plus.
Deployed via military transporter.
Reflex are chosen for their rugges design and compliance to MoD specifications.
Reflex installed a new access control system into the new Crest House facility, and integrated it through Link’s LAN into the existing system at their HQ. Two remote buildings were effectively connected seamlessly, enabling the same level of systems functionality to operate at both sites. In addition, Reflex also provided intruder detection at Crest House and CCTV surveillance with digital recording, all of which also utilises the existing site-wide IT network. The result is enhanced alarm handling across both sites.
John Teasdale of Link Interchange (UK), said: “ The type of business and nature of our operations demands that we shall have comprehensive provision for security to protect our clients’ data assets. Having entered a long-term partnership with Reflex, we have found real value in their ability to provide site-based service and support.”
