RES Software Product Upgrades Yield Further Support For Leading Citrix Solutions

RES PowerFuse and RES Wisdom Offer Support for Citrix XenApp 6 and Citrix Workflow Studio, Respectively

[UKPRwire, Wed May 12 2010] RES Software, the proven leader in user workspace management, today announced support for Citrix XenApp™ 6 and Citrix Workflow Studio™ through its flagship products, RES PowerFuse and RES Wisdom, respectively. With this support, RES Software offers joint-customers the ability to centrally manage their user workspaces through Citrix XenApp 6 and increase the scalability and ease of use of their Citrix Workflow Studio.

RES Software’s support of Citrix XenApp 6 offers IT administrators a single management point to control user workspaces across heterogeneous application delivery infrastructures. These capabilities are delivered in the latest release of RES PowerFuse 2010, Service Release 1. The upgraded solution supports the publication of applications directly to Citrix XenApp 6. It also provides automatic pass through to remote applications, if they are not available on a local computer.

In addition to support for Citrix XenApp 6 through RES PowerFuse, RES Wisdom Run Book Automation for Windows Interim Release 2 will now provide increased support for Citrix Workflow Studio. The combination of Citrix workflows and RES Software run books allow administrators to leverage the power of Citrix Workflow Studio with increased scalability and ease of use.

Product Availability
This month, the RES Wisdom Interim Release 2 with support for Citrix Workflow Studio will be available for all participants of the Early Adopter Programme. RES PowerFuse 2010 Service Release 1 with support for Citrix XenApp 6 will be available for all customers with Solution Assurance.
