The Real Hotel Company Adopts Converged Network to Streamline Core Business Processes

[UKPRwire, Tue May 13 2008] Leading UK and European hotel operator The Real Hotel Company plc has migrated its converged, multi-application network spanning 42 UK locations to improve service, reduce costs and increase control over its network.
The hotel operator, which recently launched the new low cost purplehotel brand, also operates hotels under the Comfort Inns, Quality and Clarion hotels brands.
In a project developed and implemented by virtual network operator TFM Networks, The Real Hotel Company chose to deploy a converged network as it delivers enhanced control, greater flexibility and more effective network monitoring across all of its UK locations, whilst simultaneously reducing operating costs. TFM Networks was able to offer seamless migration from the previous network provider at no added cost.
A key benefit of the converged network model is that The Real Hotel Company now has a network that will deliver reliable connectivity to its new data centre via TFM Networks’ existing high-bandwidth backbone. This will enable The Real Hotel Company to carry out its IT replacement programme, migrating individual hotel IT networks to a single converged network over which all business functions will operate.
