Trident introduce Full High Definition LCD monitor range from Sharp

Trident has expanded its portfolio of displays to include the Sharp PN range of Professional LCD monitors.

[UKPRwire, Mon Jun 18 2007] Trident has expanded its portfolio of displays to include the Sharp PN range of Professional LCD monitors. This new range offers full high definition resolution and a rugged enclosure with specially selected components of superior reliability for extended use in dedicated commercial applications including retail, digital signage, public transportation and control room displays.

The PN range, available from Trident, is offered in two sizes, the 46” and 65”, with both models available for portrait or landscape installations. The PN offers the highest definition available, a crystal clear 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as featuring ASV Black TFT technology that helps to reduce screen glare reflection, a fanless architecture with built in temperature sensor, an RS232C interface, and detachable bezel*1.

A timer function (scheduler) is available on PN-465, which can switch the unit on and off automatically at pre-set times for venues where continuous operation is not a requirement minimising power consumption and overall Total Cost of Ownership. Up to eight different time programmes can be set, saving energy and increasing product lifetime.

Video walls can be created with up to 5x5 displays to produce a more powerful impact to the audience as well as “picture in picture” and “picture by picture” functions that allow simultaneous display of a second AV/PC source.

This range of superior quality monitors also features 16.77 million display colours, a brightness of 450cd/m2 a contrast ratio of 700:1 (65”) 1700:1 (46”) and an ultra fast 6ms response time.

The Sharp PN range comes with a 3 year warranty with a 6 hour swap out policy allowing total peace of mind offering replace / repair within 6 hours meaning minimum disruption to your organisation.
