[UKPRwire, Tue Sep 11 2007] Leading Identity and Access (IDA) business, Oxford Computer Group (OCG), has recently appointed two key figures. David Lundell joins the company’s North American operation as Vice President Operations and Simon Veale joins its rapidly expanding Oxford based UK team as Senior Architect.

Interest and activity in identity and access has significantly increased of late as the benefits of a robust IDA strategy become more achievable. OCG are globally acknowledged experts in their field and have not only built an unsurpassable reputation for innovative IDA solutions, but a significant resource of skills, processes and tools.

The introduction of these two key figures from within the industry will further enhance OCG’s capabilities. David Lundell joined the company in April and is responsible for the organisation’s consulting and training operations in North America. In July David was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for Windows Server System – MIIS, for his contributions to the IDA community. That makes David the third Oxford employee, along with James Booth and Craig Martin, to be given this prestigious award.

David brings with him extensive experience and skills. He has been professionally engaged in software development, database administration, directory services implementation and systems administration since he was 16. In the nearly two decades since then David has amassed an array of professional experience, certifications and degrees and has become a highly regarded architect of solutions in the database, business intelligence and identity management realms.

David comments, “OCG has the best reputation in the industry, and so I leapt at the opportunity to apply both my technical and business skills in running their North American operations. I am really excited about working with all of the talented people at OCG – James Booth, Craig Martin, Dave Nesbitt, James Cowling etc. I also look forward to being instrumental in meeting OCG’s goals for growth in North America.”

OCG is also excited to have Simon Veale on board in the UK, where he will be instrumental in developing new business lines around security and support. Simon will be driving the company’s offerings for strong authentication and information protection and brings with him extensive experience from Microsoft, including knowledge of some of the latest technologies for certificate and rights management, as well as a strong background in identity lifecycle management.

Simon comments, “This move was a fantastic opportunity to increase sales and awareness in Microsoft Identity products. I have worked with OCG in one capacity or another for the last five years and share their passion for designing and implementing IDA solutions that deliver real business benefits.”

Oxford Computer Group (OCG) is an IT services company that specializes in Identity and Access Management. With operations in North America, the UK and Germany, OCG has an enviable repository of expertise, solution components and training courses. OCG has deployed 200+ enterprise wide identity and access solutions and trained 2500+ people on Microsoft IDA technologies. We understand identity and access management – benefit from our experience and capabilities.
