[UKPRwire, Thu Mar 22 2007] Following last week’s announcement, Babble.net – the internet telephony service provider – is to formally launch its Internet Phone Service VAR program at the VoIP for Business Conference, March 21st 2007.
With a further [4] companies already in discussions with Babble following the Sportsgate announcement on 16th March 2007, the company’s internet phone service program allows third party organisations to deliver their own branded internet telephony and content services to customers without the need to buy, build or own a communications infrastructure.
Allan Howse, CEO of Babble.net, said:
“One of our major initiatives for 2007 is the roll-out of our VAR program. We have invested significant resources in the IPS program and the development of our technologies. Existing internet businesses can now add our capabilities as part of their own brand and sell an entirely new set of services to their existing customers. It has a very low cost of entry and can therefore benefit any organisation which has a core set of customers or target audience.”
IPS is presented as: ‘your brand, your website, your customer’. Babble provides a set of tools and APIs that enable the customer to launch services via their existing website. Features and tools include: hosted SIP-based communications; voicemail, whitelabel softphone, web APIs and links while optional extras include telephony features, sales & advertising features and support and admin features.
