The BabbleStick allows users to start making free calls over the internet via any PC without the need for downloading the software or needing a headset.

The BabbleStick is Babble’s answer to “VoIP on the Go”, where users can carry a 256MB USB memory stick preloaded with the Babble VoIP software. When plugged in to any USB port, the Babble software automatically loads up to allow free internet telephony calls between Babble users to and from anywhere in the world. The BabbleStick is now available at the price of £19.99 from the online shop at Babble.

FreeB allows new and existing Babble users to make free phone calls to over 25 countries. Calls are limited to 30 minutes each day. After that the standard low-cost Babble rates apply. To activate the service, customers simply send a one-off text message costing £1.50p to Babble. If activated through the BabbleStick – this sign-up charge will be waived. The initial FreeB campaign will last for three months and is due to end mid-October.
