XLN’s Netdialer Helps Customers Slash International Mobile Call Charges

[UKPRwire, Tue Nov 18 2008] XLN Telecom (www.xlntelecom.co.uk) – the UK’s leading telecoms company serving the small business community – is helping customers slash their international mobile call charges by 90% with its latest service, Netdialer (www.netdialer.co.uk).

Netdialer is easy-to-use and convenient. Simply download the Netdialer application to your mobile phone. Then when calling an international number, your phone will automatically connect to the Netdialer system bypassing the mobile operator and therefore eliminating their additional charges.

With rates as low as 1p per minute to landlines in the USA, Canada and China – and 1.5p a minute to landlines in France and Germany - Netdialer offers exceptional value for money. Mobile users typically pay 20p per minute to call such destinations.

In addition to the low prices, the service promises to provide the highest levels of call quality ensuring no white noise, echo, delay or disconnection. Likewise, with no hidden charges and no access numbers and PINs to remember, Netdialer offers a cheaper and safer alternative to calling cards.

Anthony Karibian, co-founder and CEO of XLN Telecom, commented:

“With the financial crisis now affecting small businesses, we understand better than anyone the need for small businesses to reduce their operational costs. Netdialer provides an immediate solution to significantly cut expensive mobile phone costs without sacrificing call quality. This pay-as-you-go solution is easy to install and seamless to use.”

How it works

When you sign up, the Netdialer application stores itself in the application folder on your mobile phone (sometimes in the games folder, dependant on phone model). Netdialer will then find your international phone entries in your contacts list and save a copy of them in the Netdialer application. When you next dial an international contact – it will then automatically connect via the Netdialer system. All you will notice is a slight pause before your call connects.

If you have monthly inclusive minutes on your mobile package Netdialer will use your inclusive minutes, so there will be no additional charge from your mobile provider. If you have a pay-as-you-go contract your mobile operator will charge you for a local or national call for each call you make a call through Netdialer.

Please note, though, Netdialer is not compatible when calling from outside the UK, so international calls from abroad should be made via your existing contact list.
