iFindanumber.com is preparing to challenge BT and the other UK telecom operators with a new and unique number package aimed at the UK based SME
[UKPRwire, Sat Mar 24 2007] iFinda Group which last week rolled out a number of iFinda brands to the UK, is preparing to launch a full assault on the UK Telecom markets under the brand of iFindanumber (dot) com
“The move to iFinda was a calculated move” said Daniel Corby, Group Chief Executive. “IMT Group plc, the ultimate parent company wanted to create a really strong and unique brand for the businesses and allow us to launch additional products under the same branding. iFinda will launch products in the automotive, property and gift sectors within the coming year and the move to telecom now is a sensible one for us. The iFinda Group of companies manage relationships with around 300,000 business customers in the UK alone and the ability to cross sell telecom services to this base is going to be a big revenue for the group. iFindanumber (dot) com will sell the full range of local and non geographic numbers, such as 0845, 0846, 0870, 0871 and the typical 01 and 02 coded numbers. Numbers will be sold through a call centre and web presence under the brand of iFindanumber (dot) com.
The business has created a number of real unique selling points for the telecoms business and we have packages of numbers with all inclusive minutes for life, something the more established players have struggled to compete with us on. The business is backed with a state of the art I.T platform that enables us to connect and make live the numbers within seconds of the customer completing the order. This compares to days with other telecom providers. A new web based portal is being developed that will allow the customer to manage their call activity and data using on-line real time access. This package will also be provided as part of the bundle”
The new holding company name IMT spells out the group’s principal areas of operation, Internet, Media, and Telecoms – these 3 core areas of which cover all of our businesses, which now span Advertising, Directories, Media, Mobile, Publishing and Telecoms.

Uniquely it produces regional printed and web based directories of businesses which have been independently verified by customers. It also publishes free-to-pick-up magazines under the FIDO brand which currently serve major conurbations in Essex and which will be progressively rolled out to other areas. The board became strengthened significantly during 2006, with the appointment of business veteran, Richard Allan as Chairman, Hugh Craen, the founder of Potential Finance Group plc as Director, Peter Hill as Group Finance Director, Jaynie Vincent as Group HR Director, Scott Barker as Director of Risk Operations. The business is based in Essex, with operations in Chelmsford, Harlow and the Asia Pacific regions.

The business has recently recruited a retired Head of Trading Standards to the business as Head of Ethics. The committee will meet once a month and will oversee the way the group deals with its customers, staff and shareholders.
