On the back of exciting new eCommerce client wins and a strengthened internal team, leading eCommerce and online marketing agency Radiator has embarked on a corporate expansion strategy to extend its reach beyond Scotland’s central belt and grow its turnover from its current £420,000 to £1 million by 2012.
Fraser Hogg, the Glasgow-based firm’s co-owner and creative director, said, "Despite the recession, we’re delighted to have almost doubled in turnover over the last six months. That rise can perhaps partly be explained by the fact that many retailers are now fully embracing the full potential of eCommerce and how it can boost their sales when the right planning and best practice eCommerce principles are applied."
UK consumers spent £38 billion online in 2009, an average of £1,102 per shopper, according to the Centre for Retail Research while online sales now account for almost 10% of total retail sales in the UK.
"Given that online sales are predicted to reach £43 billion this year, it is evidently important that retailers take a serious view of their eCommerce capability. The importance of such a view is magnified further for the growing number of businesses that sell their products online exclusively," said Mr Hogg.
Formed in 2002 by Directors Fraser Hogg and Stephen Hunter, today Radiator employs a team of 11 and has a proven track record of delivering results and innovation combined with the highest level of customer service and value.
A member of ScotlandIS, the trade body for the information and communications technologies (ICT) industry, Radiator (www.the-radiator.com) works closely with clients to increase their brand awareness, leads and repeat sales online. Its customer base spans a broad spectrum of public and private sector organisations, all of which call upon its expert input to generate online sales.
