Models Direct: Working With Clients Worldwide

As part of a recent assignment through Models Direct, four babies took part in a photoshoot for New Zealand-based company Outlook, working with advertising and marketing agency Intuisys. Read on to hear more about the day.

Outlook founders Eileen and Louise first met at a mothers’ coffee group in 1997 and have come a long way since then! It was after discussing concerns about protecting their babies from the strong New Zealand sun that they came up with their own design for a pushchair sun-shade. Now the company offers a range of different sun-shades, as well as pushchair ‘snugs’ to keep babies cosy, which are on sale throughout New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

For their publicity, Outlook needed some baby models, and the advertising company they were working with, Intuisys, turned to Models Direct to find them. After the modelling agency sent them a selection of models to look at, Jakki at Intuisys decided Elsie and Sofia, along with twin brothers Harrison and Jake, would be perfect for showing off the company’s pram accessories.

The baby models and their parents travelled to a photoshoot in Dereham, Norfolk, not far from Models Direct’s head office in Norwich. Each baby had an assigned time which meant they wouldn’t have to spend hours waiting around.

The photographic assignment went well and each of the babies’ mums had some positive reactions to what was the first modelling experience for all of them.

"Elsie was very content and happy throughout the shoot," Elsie’s mum Amy informed Models Direct. "She had a few change of clothes and change of props but she remained calm and looked like she enjoyed all the attention. I was pleased with the whole experience and hope to have more to look forward to in the future."

"I dressed the twins as requested by Jakki, who was very good with Harrison and Jake," said the twins’ mum Georgina. "Harrison and Jake seemed interested and happy to participate and sit in pushchairs as required. It was a great start and introduction to Harrison and Jake’s modelling."
