Toolbox are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Langston to the position of Website Administrator for its e-commerce tools site. Anthony has worked for Plumbworld, the sister company of Toolbox for over 2 years proving himself in his previous role which has led to his internal promotion across the business.

Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager of Toolbox Said:

"We are very pleased to have someone with Anthony’s skills and enthusiasm joining the Toolbox team. Our success is not only determined by the quality and value for money of the tools we offer our customers, but how they are uploaded and displayed on our website. After all the Toolbox.co.uk website is our only shop front, it needs to be correct, thorough and informative as possible. Anthony has a very tough challenge, with the Toolbox website currently sporting over 22,000 products he will certainly have his hands full introducing many new products and maintaining the current ones"

Anthony has been thrown in at the deep end recently, and has played a big part in the upload of around 2700 Silverline and 2200 Draper power tools and hand tools, along with an extended range of camping and travel accessories which are a new addition to the Toolbox taxonomy.

Anthony Langston, Website Administrator of Toolbox:

"It is a real honour that Plumbworld have given me this opportunity to shine in a completely new role to my previous. I have always been interested in online marketing and e-commerce websites, and find the magic of words and pictures to sell something truly inspiring. As the website is our ‘shop front’ it will be my task to make it look as appealing as possible and ensure that the content is as thorough as it can be with the resources available. I have recently taken part in HTML and CSS courses, both of which I found extremely interesting and hope to put the skills I have learnt to good use"

Toolbox.co.uk sell a massive range of power tools, hand tools and accessories on its e-commerce website. All the big brands are listed, Bosch, DeWalt, Draper, Hitachi, Makita, Silverline and many more. Their front page is currently host to some well designed banners and product groups highlighting their top offers at the present moment, the current focus is around gardening equipment – with the sun currently shining for a change it is an ideal time to snap up a bargain in preparation for the gardening season.

Toolbox is based in Evesham, Worcestershire and now employs 50 staff within their 2,000 sqm, purpose built warehouse and offices. The sister company Plumbworld had a turnover in 2008 in excess of £18 Million. Plumbworld was established in 1999 and was sold to The Grafton Group Plc in December 2006.
