Voth Nixon Group Appoints Bridget Elwyn As Director For Responsible Investment

Voth Nixon Group announced today that it has made the last new key hire for the year 2015 with the appointment of Bridget Elwyn as Director for Responsible Investment.

In her new role, Ms. Elwyn will sustain the ongoing development of a responsible investment approach within Voth Nixon Group. The concept of responsible investment has been for a long time an integral part of Voth Nixon Group’s investment strategy.

Ms. Elwyn brings 12 years of invaluable expertise and knowledge in responsible investment, most recently leading Evercore Partner’s shareholder engagement and proxy voting process as well as being instrumental in designing the firm’s initial responsible investment strategy along with the company’s board of executives. Prior to joining Evercore, she has served as senior analyst of Financial, Social and Executive Research and Planning at Starwood. In her new role at Voth Nixon Group, Ms. Elwyn will report directly to Steven Tyler Carter, Chief Investment Officer of VNX Group.

Mr. Carter has also noted that Voth Nixon Group will also create a Responsible Investment Committee to further strengthen their responsible investment initiative.
