Back to School for Models Direct Models Anna-Marie and Camilla

Two of Models Direct’s female models recently had the opportunity to build their portfolios and help students learn how to direct a photoshoot. The assignment took place at Stroud College, Gloucestershire, and the lucky models were Anna-Marie and Camilla.

Anna-Marie and Camilla spent some time with the students before the photoshoot, discussing their ideas and the looks they wished to portray. They also had to decide on appropriate make-up for each set of photos. Once the decisions had been made by each group of students a professional photographer took the photos. Model Camilla was asked to pose as a powerful businesswoman, a musician in a band and also for some more general fashion shots.

Although this was a time-for-prints assignment, and so the models were not being paid, they were more than happy to work in return for photos for their portfolios. Both models enjoyed the assignment and are looking forward to continuing modelling.

"I was really pleased with how it went, couldn’t have gone better really," Camilla told us. "I felt very relaxed and the time seemed to fly by. Very friendly atmosphere… it was great to meet new people and talk to the media students about their ideas and how it went for them."

"It was so much fun and everyone was a joy to work with," Anna-Marie agreed. "The best thing about the assignment was getting the experience of being in front of the camera and working with all different people and their ideas."
