Models Direct Find the Perfect Solution for Promotional Modelling!

Last month three women headed to Folkestone Racecourse in Kent. They weren’t there for a flutter though, they were there to work! Models Direct’s Toni, Claire and Julia were selected by Deborah from Total Image Solutions and spent the day modelling clothes provided by designer fashion outlet McArthurGlen, promoting a competition for the company.

The day kicked off at 10:30am when the women arrived at the venue. They changed into their outfits and then it was down to work, handing out gift bags, talking to the public and promoting the store. They were even asked to pose for pictures by people attending the event. All three girls enjoyed their promotional modelling assignment and offered some great feedback.

"I thought it was a good day and I really enjoyed it," Toni informed modelling agency Models Direct. "We were provided with clothes to wear chosen from the Ashford designer outlet who we were promoting.

"The best part of the day was that everything we had to do was explained in such detail that we had to ask no questions, and that we got to have a laugh with both staff and the public. Also the fact that so many people were taking pictures of us made us feel really good."

"I had a really fun day," model Claire agrees. "It was my first assignment and it was promotional work at the races. I had a great time, the other models were really friendly, and Tash and Debbie were so welcoming. I’d definitely do it again!"

Finally, model Julia confirms what the other two models have already said. "I had lots of fun on this assignment," Julia told Models Direct in her feedback. "The clients were very friendly and organised things efficiently. I loved being allocated out clothes. I got to wear this amazing big black hat and dress from L.K. Bennett. There was a great atmosphere at the racecourse, it was a sunny day and I enjoyed chatting and joking with lots of people."

Models Direct are pleased that the three young women had such a fantastic assignment. Although it may not be the first type of assignment that people think of when applying to an agency, promotional modelling can be great fun and Models Direct always receive great feedback from assignments such as this.
